ABOUT US

WHO IS COMEDY HELPER?

Harmony Hey thinks Comedy Helper is a blast and is happy to involved with them. An Alumni of CSU, she appeared in Comedy Of Errors, The Real Inspector Hound, and who could forget The Vagina Monologues. She has a great love of animals - which has allowed her to care for exotic birds, Sumatran tigers, sea otters, scorpions, deadly reptiles and her nine-year-old son, Dylan. These days when she’s not teaching kids how to dig up dinosaurs or unravel mummies, she enjoys singing, sharing new dance moves with her son and working on her first home.

Scott Johnson has been around awhile, having joined Comedy Helper in Dec ‘94 while in college. He left Helper for a job in Oregon as an on-air-personality with KXPC. After spending a year on the west coast Scott migrated back to the Mile High City to continue his efforts with Comedy Helper. Scott’s character Banjo (the crotch grabbing monkey) has been banned from our stage - an act we at Comedy Helper rarely bestow. If you get a chance to see the feature film Ronny Camaro and the 7 Angry Women try to spot all of Scott’s amazing character work.

Ezra Koski sayes Hyvaa Soumi!! (Oh those crazy Finns…) Ezra “a crazy Finn” is stoked (that means excited) to be performing improv with a group like Comedy Helper. Ezra helped start Theatre Sports, an improv group at Colorado State University. A native of Denver, CO, Ezra has appeared in several theater productions, his favorites include The Odd Couple, The Bourgeois Gentleman, Comedy of Errors, Present Laughter, and most recently Lovely Letters.

Kelly Wensing prefers life up, dirty and shaken, not stirred. She has been exploring improv and sketch comedy for more than 10 years. She carries a leading role with Comedy Helper as a writer, director, actor, producer and "Girl Friday". She enjoys the status of being the first Comedy Helper to marry. Kelly has also done time as a local theatrical designer, director/producer, and has been known to grace the boards in a dramatic role – you may have seen her in Lovely Letters a not so dramatic scripted role.

Tommy Reddicks finds his home in a classroom in Denver where he heads the Music Department for an area Charter school. Tommy toured as an on-stage musician for the theater production of Secrets, and became the first musician to be awarded a Rocky Mountain Theater Award (RMTA). He has also directed Alice in Wonderland, The Mousetrap, Androcles and the Lion, Julius Caesar, and many of his own original musicals. In addition to directing film shorts, Tommy is also well known for his dorky dances and bizarre ability to compose music for comedy.
